If you’re a fan of design, you’ve probably at least heard of House & Garden, a publication by Conde Nast. After some staff shakeups and the departure of its publisher, Conde Nast has decided to cease publication of H&G with the December 2007 issue. The website will be taken down as well. H&G was a decent publication but it felt really old and stoggy despite its link-up with the popular design*sponge blog. I also think that Conde Nast has a winner with Domino and the FABULOUS Vogue Living so H&G was always running a distant third. Let’s not forget the designer staple, Architectural Digest, which is still the number one design mag in the country.
